Emily was working as a nanny for a family with a son on the spectrum when she realized she wanted to understand how to help more kids. She earned her Master's from Caldwell University and became a BCBA focused on naturalistic teaching, helping kids learn through play and daily routines.



She writes about seeing children's strengths, not just struggles, and advocates for neurodiversity-affirming practices. When she's not working, she's reading three books at once or spending time with her nieces and nephews.
